What is Reallier?
Reallier is an engineering company focused on IT and AI infrastructure. We help small and mid-sized businesses with cloud cost diagnostics, hybrid-cloud and private migration, AI application stack deployment, and ongoing operations support.
Our work is not generic application outsourcing — it is judgment and delivery at the infrastructure layer: how systems actually behave under real load, which resources are wasted, which services should stay in the cloud, and which belong in private or hybrid environments.
Who is a good fit?
A good fit if any of these sound familiar:
- Cloud servers, databases, storage, or SaaS fees have become a visible burden
- You have data and business systems but no in-house architecture-level infrastructure capability
- You want to deploy AI engineering stacks such as RAG, agents, LLM observability, or a private knowledge base
- You need someone accountable for monitoring, backups, security patching, and infrastructure troubleshooting
What is not a good fit?
We currently do not focus on pure frontend/backend feature outsourcing, model training or RLHF projects, or advisory work that ends at a slide deck with no engineering delivery.
If the need is mainly business feature development, a conventional software outsourcing team is a better match. If the problem is cloud bills, deployment architecture, data storage, search, AI inference, or operations, that is where we fit.
How large are the cost savings?
We need to look at your actual bills, resource utilization, data scale, and business risk first — industry or company size alone says little.

Anonymized case: after an infrastructure rebuild at a ~300-person company, annual cloud-related spending dropped from about ¥139,556 to about ¥8,200 — roughly 94%, with a payback period of about two months. Actual results depend on the assessment.
How do we evaluate whether it is worth doing?
The first step is usually a 30-minute call covering your cloud bill, resource utilization screenshots, a list of major systems, and your current biggest pain point.
If there is clear headroom, we move to a fuller technical diagnostic: read-only access or screenshots of the cloud console, instance specs, CPU/memory/disk utilization, database and storage scale, network traffic, and bill breakdowns. The diagnostic ends with a utilization report, optimization paths, risk boundaries, and an ROI estimate.
How is pricing structured?
Usually two parts: a one-time implementation fee and an optional monthly operations fee.
Implementation covers solution design, hardware/cloud selection, environment setup, data migration, cutover verification, and delivery documentation. Monthly operations covers monitoring, backups, security patching, infrastructure troubleshooting, and a monthly inspection.
A concrete quote follows the diagnostic and depends on the savings headroom, migration risk, hardware scale, business continuity requirements, and ongoing operations responsibility.
Who owns the hardware?
If a project involves physical servers, NAS, network gear, or rack space, the client typically purchases and holds the assets directly. Reallier advises on selection, plans the configuration, and handles deployment and acceptance.
This keeps asset ownership unambiguous and leaves you in full control of the environment if the engagement ends.
Do you support private deployment?
Yes. Private or hybrid-cloud delivery is a common engagement model.
Typical components include virtualization platforms, ZFS/RAID storage, NAS backups, VPN networking, monitoring and alerting, databases, search engines, object storage, and AI application stacks. The exact selection depends on your existing systems, budget, facility conditions, and operations capability.
Will migration interrupt the business?
Migrations are staged wherever possible: environment setup, data synchronization, canary verification, cutover, and rollback preparation. The old system usually stays in place until the new one passes verification.
Whether the cutover can be fully seamless depends on the business system itself, database size, write frequency, and the acceptable maintenance window. Migration windows and rollback plans are made explicit during the assessment.
What does monthly operations include?
Typically:
- Server monitoring and alert response
- Backup status checks and recovery testing
- Security patching and baseline upgrades
- Troubleshooting across network, storage, virtualization, and databases
- VPN and remote access maintenance
- A monthly inspection report
New feature development, new system deployments, major architecture changes, business data cleaning, training, or long-term on-site staffing are not part of the base operations package and are scoped separately.
